Hydrangea Standard

Three summers ago, when we first moved into our new home, I planted a tree standard Hydrangea to the left of my porch and a tree standard Viburnum on the right. Alas, the Viburnum did not make it through it’s first winter but the Hydrangea has continued to get bigger and more lush each year.

This morning the sun was shining so beautifully on the leaves where a heavy dew was glistening. I took a couple shots but couldn’t capture just how spectacular it looked. These are the moments you truly wait for with gardening……although the big blowzy blossoms aren’t bad either 🙂

Have a Marvelous Day!
