We are so Owlishly hip!

My dear pregnant daughter has weeded through all the possibilities of nursery themes…..wanting to appeal to both sexes…..wanting cute….wanting simple…..

After much deliberation and vetoing by her husband πŸ™‚ She decided to go with a favorite motif of hers……….owls! That allowed me, MumMum, to start heating up the PayPal account! She gave me a list of wonderful things she found and that jump started the Etsy frenzy……and, girls, I’m just getting started! LOL

The first order was this cool vintage (?) quilt/tapestry…..

Purchased from Etsy seller Vero Vintage.

The next two prints are coming all the way from Norway from Etsy seller Carambatack Design.

The following goodies are made with a Robert Kauffman fabric that I just can’t locate yardage of….so, before you ask why I didn’t just make these …. I have a good excuse!

These lovelies cane from Etsy seller Whimzee Baby Boutique.

An additional burp cloth and blanket……

I was fortunate to pick these up from Etsy Seller Modern Baby Toddler Textiles.

And finally, I found a picture of this cookie on Mrs. Attaya’s First Grade Class. I’d love to make these for daughter’s baby shower. They look like they might take some practice. I mean…..I’ve got to get the shape right…..the Kisses and cashew placed just so… Oh yes, practicing is in order. Who needs to lose weight? I have obligations!

I am having so much fun and I still have a couple months before I get to hold that new baby!

((hugs)) Rosie

  4. Oh, Rosie…these are all so, so precious. Oh, what fun you are having. It is bringing back all those fun and precious times with my daughter, thru 4 little babies and my daughter-in-law with her babies, too.
Enjoy every single solitary minute…..I know I sure did.
How much fun for US, too, to see all the goodies you buy and make for that sweetie that is on it’s way!

  5. Hi Rosie, I can’t believe you found all those wonderful owl things in Etsy. They are adorable. Is this the first grand-baby? I only have one which I am flying to see this month. Her nursery theme was “Goodnight Moon” and I made and bought all kinds of things about moons….even the window valance. Now that she just got her big girl bed it’s being done with a shabby theme…wicker, pinks, greens, etc. and I gave her the most glorious chandelier for Christmas to go over her reading chair. πŸ™‚ Thank you for adding me to your list and I will do the same. xo Lynn P.S. I would love to be on your shopping list too.
