Archives

Way back on February 9th, Sweet Kate @ Our Red House tagged me for the archive meme. Right after that the flu bug hit and since this takes a bit of work to do, I am just getting to it……Sorry about that Kate 😦

Here are the instructions:

Link 1 must be about family. Link 2 must be about friends. Link 3 must be about yourself, who you are… what you’re all about. Link 4 must be about something you love. Link 5 can be anything you choose.

I think this is a great way to circulate some of the great older posts everyone has written, return to a few great places in our memories and also learn a little something about ourselves and each other that we may not know.

Post your five links and then tag five other people. At least TWO of the people you tag must be *newer acquaintances so that you get to know each other better….and don’t forget to read the archive posts and leave comments!

#1 Family – “The Wedding Day” (My daughter’s wedding picnic)
wed-pic-8.jpg

#2 Friends – “Jen and Ben’s Engagement Party” ( This is cheating a little because they are friends and family – stepson and his fiancee)

#3 Myself – “Six Facts

#4 Something I love – “What do I love about my home” (my wrap around porch)

#4 Wildcard selection – “A Porch with a View” (just some garden pictures)

I will tag:

Manuela @ The Feathered Nest
Tracy @ Pink Purl
Cindy @ My Romantic Home
Lynda @ Hedgerow Hollows
Francie @ The Scented Cottage

I think I am all caught up with tags and I think I am all caught up with “work” sewing so perhaps I can play this weekend and have something new and fresh for Monday (don’t hold your breath, though) 🙂 Rosie

  2. That’s a fun one! It’ll be a bit hard for me as I don’t really post about my family or friends – but I’ll see what I can come with. Thank you for thinking of me!

  3. Thank you for sharing these delightful memories and photos. I love your wraparound porch!

  4. I am wondering how hard the toppers on the window on my blog today might be to make? I am not good at sewing at all but I sure am tempted to try these. It is soooo pretty. Of course, the fabric has a lot to do with how pretty it is, too. Would you let me know if you decide to make some?
    thanks, bj
